Title: Seat swap

I was wondering how difficult a seat swap in a 85 chevy short bed regular cab is, i have a bench seat in it now from a 93, but i would like to change to bucket seats and a consul, i was wondering what others have in there trucks and if anyone has any tips, tricks or spicific seats from other vehicals that would fit, thanks.

if its just because you want a console look into steel horse products (atleast i think thats who makes it) they have a really nice console that my dad had in his old 87 truck and now i got it in my 86 that just sits on the bench.

   Why don't you try the seat set up out of a Blazer of the same year. Most of them had buckets and consoles, didn't they ?????

Well, i could just change it with bucket seats from the same year and all, but that would mean i would have to re upolster them, i was wondering what other vehicals i could swap with, like something from 95 or above. the console would just be a added bonus.

Get you a aftermarket seat. You can find them at junkyards and on ebay.
