Title: Steering column question

Question,
i got a tilt column out of a 84 jimmy/blazer and i am gonna use the wiring harnes from my 1st 80 truck into my 2nd cab.Will the harness work with the 84 column?The column had cruise control.Will a non cruise control directional arm work in place of the cruise control arm setup?
