Title: "What's the plan's?"
Post by: N2TRUX on February 26, 2005, 09:58:00 pm
Ok, it's a half way through the weekend, but here I am again asking "What's the plan's?"

Enjoy- Listening to my daughter and her friends that came for a sleep over laugh till they can't breath. Man I wish my life was that simple again.

Enjoy- Watching my 4 year old nephew open a bunch of expensive birthday gifts and end playing with a 2.00 "Bag of rubber snakes" and carrying around a bag of acorns that his Grandpa gave him like they were gold. Man I wish my life was that simple again.

Dread- Have to work this weekend and drive around in the rain.

Dread- Finding all the parts to get the 700r4 working in my 77.

Well I worked all day today (Saturday), been working every Sat, 8 hours...on top of the 40+ hours I put in at my *#* full time job.  The bright side to this (and the reason for all the extra hours), and something I will be doing tomorrow...paying for our wedding in full that is coming up in May!  :)   :)   What a relief that will be!

Tomorrow I also hope to replace the wheel tubs on Yeller with nicer, dent free ones I purchased a couple years ago.  Going to watch the race too.  :)

Sat. I started welding the patches on the bottom of the 86's doors. Once there primed and cut in I can assemble the cab / nose and paint it. I spent most of the afternoon glass bead blasting the door knobs, mount plates, and latch mechanisms for the interior doors of the house. Going to pick up the paint, prime, and paint them Mon.

Sun. Dropping the stray cat that adopted us as his new family off to get neutered. Going to touch up the down stairs bathroom trim paint. Then try to finish last two patches on the 86's doors, and Maybe get them ready for primer or if I am real ambitious get them primed and cut in. Recording the race so I will probably watch that tonight.
