Title: seat removal
Post by: xs-style on January 09, 2008, 03:52:07 pm
Anyone know how to get the back passenger side seat bolt out? Ive tried every 14 wrench and socket I own and from every angle I can think of.  Ive worked on this one bolt last night, and now this afternoon.  I just thought Id ask you guys for some help. If it doesnt come out of there nicely tonight, it comes out with a sawzall tomorrow. Im not reusing the seat, so cutting the bracket shouldnt matter lol. Thanks guys.

(78 Scottsdale btw)

Should be a 1/2" if it is a 78 model.  What is it doing?  Not turning or turning but not coming out?  Have you shot some PB Blaster on it?

if you used a 14mm, then try a 12mm or a 1/2" (come to think of it, it may be a 9/16"). shallow well. push your seat all the way forward. shouldn't be a big deal.
