Title: VIN To RPO?
Post by: 81Cheyenne on January 14, 2008, 09:43:30 am
I just bought an '84 K-10 to use as a parts truck.  The Service Parts Identification sticker is missing from the glove box (of course!). Is there any way that I can get a copy of this record using the VIN?  Did GM keep record of what RPO codes/original equipment were given to a specific VIN?

You "MIGHT" be able to get it from GM dealership, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

You could try this GM information number I was given by my local dealership. I called it to get the production number for my truck. If they don't know the answer they probably know where to get the answer.
