is it true you can time your motor with roller rockers?? i also have gear to gear drive timing is ther any special way to time it?
-
Not quite sure what you're asking. ??? Are you talking about ignition timing or mechanical timing?
-
i have a newer 350 crate engine and i put ger to gear timing in it and it had roller rockers when i got it but someone told me i need to adjust the roller rockers to get more power
-
A gear drive does the same thing as a timing chain so your valvetrain adjustments would be the same. All rocker arms roller or conventional need to be properly adjusted.

Ok..just checking to make sure i got this right myself....Bring Engine to TDC mark on the balancer and timing tab a white line to mark 0 Degrees..
Now What do i do with the Distributor besides make sure the rotor is on the #1 Do i have to make the Distributor face as straight as i can or whats the deal?

Where ever you have the #1 plug on the cap, the rotor should point to that position with room for rotation. The plug can be anywhere as long as the rotor points to it, but generally the #1 plug it as the front...
