Hi guys, in the process of re-wiring the turn signals & 4way etc due to previous owner having spaghetti hands and only red wire by the looks and it all melted in to one mess.
could someone tell me what colour wire goes into the switch (via flasher can) and which colour for left turn and which for right? I have a new switch with the correct connections etc
The 4way I'll have to wire differently from you guys!!
cheers

the majority is a '78 we think! From the black connecting block we have:
black \
both going to bottom of switch
pink /
black
light blue
dark blue
brown/grey
purple
yellow
green
white
cheers m8- help! out of all these i only need to know which is power to switch and left/right out!
-
I know for sure yellow is your turn signals.. I forgot what the rest where. I'll go piddle around on my truck tommaro and figure it out. I'm having problems with my tails lights as well.

thanks guys- any help really appreciated

Sorry to bring this one up again but.................
Ok- the 4way works and flashes as it should do.
The left and right turn signals flash a couple of times then stay on. If I turn it all off for a few minutes they work and then stay on again.
The switch and flasher can is new, so is most of the wiring. Is it a dodgy flasher can or in the wiring that I haven't touched yet?
cheers

No that's Paris Hilton ;D Yes hot at all times means battery voltage, hot in run means when the ignition is switched on. Schematic meaning electrical diagram.
