Well...Since my truck was messed up...Thought i would Take instrument cluster out...See why the lights wouldn't work....Well ill tell ya something i never seen such a hack job i pulled out 30FT!!! of wire...The owner before me Hacked up the stock cluster...Cut it and smashed it ..And put after markit in...every thing was  hacked up...He cut the factory harness off!!!! and Used duct tape and wire ties!!! i couldn't believe it...my wife came home i was out side cussing and yelling...Went to the junk yard...Gonna cost me 50bucks to replace the stock cluster..Any one Else ever run into a hack job like that? if so please share...Might make me a lil less mad

lol! I'd say it was hacked! I see hackings all the time! People burn their houses down with custom ;) wiring in their vehicles. I was hired to take over a garage a few years back because the shmuck that was there before decided to do some creative dashboard wiring and install some lovely gauges. He ended up flooding the shop with the sprinkler system. Burned the vehicle to a crisp overnight and caused about $35,000 in damaged to the shop  ;D Needless to say he ended up getting fired.

I would suggest you grab a gauge cluster and the harness from a junk vehicle since they're easy enough to pull out.

lol....Its bad..Iv never herd of some one Cutting of a factory harness...So ill spend the next week fixing it all...I still have to post my vid of the engine running wide open....But man! Iv been fixing his hack jobs since i bought the truck...I mean he was pretty smart to Use split loom to cover up the junk under the hood...And im starting to think i should be looking for a crack on the manifold coverd up with epoxy and duct tape...

I have instlled aftermarket gages in a stock cluster, but I didn't butcher it like that!
