How do I get these darn side molding screws off?
-
Which ones? The ones on the side of the truck? Phillips head screws..
-
No, the one that hold the side molding on. They have a clip on the outside and they go all along the side of the truck.
-
Those shouldn't be screwed on. The Molding attaches to the clip which is retained to the body. Can you post a pic of the style moulding you have since there were som many variations?
-
Are you removing the molding from the truck or the clips from the body?
-
No, the one that hold the side molding on. They have a clip on the outside and they go all along the side of the truck.
Any area of the truck with trim that has an easy to access point behind the trim mounting(Wheel Wells/Lamp Pockets/Etc) has these type of mounting trim studs with nuts on the back

In the Areas that can't be easily accessed from behind, has trim Studs either Welded or Riveted to the body(Ie Back of Cab/Etc), and the only way to remove those is by grinding the heads off with a Cut-off wheel....
Behind Cab, and Sometimes along the top side of the bed..
