Title: shackles

hey i have a four wheel drive 78 chevy truck and i was wanting to know where to jack it up see my shackles are bent so i wanted to take them out and fixs them if anybody can tell me how to do this i would appreciate it and here is a pic so you can see it

The way Ive done it in the past is with 2 jack stands (good ones, not 10 dollar specials) under the front frame horns or on the frame right behind the shackles.The I used two floor jacks to support the axle. You'll have to getthe front tires off the ground, but don't remove the tires unless you just have. This is added safety. Remove one set at a time
