i wanna run 35's on my chevy with 6 inches of lift i want good mud and road handleing what is your opinion on the 2 tires
-
these are pictures of the 2 tires
-
I've owned them both and I'd take the Coopers all day long
-
coopers, my tire guy likes the bfg all terrains, hates the mud terrains
-
Personally I like BFG/Cooper/Toyo/Multi Mile(Wild Country) All-Terrains, as they handle Various Terrains well, but are fairly quiet and smooth on the pavement... Both my girlfriend and I have BFG MT's on my truck, & her Jeep. To me they're a bit too noisy on dry pavement, and too squirrelly in the rain/ice/snow...
-
i've got the bfg mud terrians on my truck and i don't see anything wrong with them. they seem to grip good in the snow (eaton lsd in the back), i haven't noticed anything weird in the rain, and as for noise, i just expect road noise from knobby tires like that anyways. i drive on the highway alot too. i haven't put enough miles on them to tell you about tread wear yet. thats something i will have to see. my grandmother always had cooper snow tires on her explorer and would swear by them.
-
I have the BFG M/T's on mine as well. Rides lot better than the heavy duty stock size I had and no noise. If the coopers wear and ride decent you stand to save a buck. Size and weight of the vehicle make a difference of how much noise the tires make. Weight per square inch of tire contacting the pavement as well as how aggressive the tread. Something like that.
