yeah, long beds usually arent the preffered choice but i think thats what i like about her, plus they look good when theyre slammed with big tires underneath-thanks for the feedback

the rearend is a narrowed 12 bolt, spool, 33 spline starnge axles with 4.88 gears. tires are a 33x21.5 15. ill have to take some more pics of teh interior, its has a full 12 point cage, try and get some pics of that too.

I like how the body is original
-
Cool truck, what happened to your N2O BB?
-
i had the heads cut for the triple springs that i added after i put a big cam in it, solid roller 737 lift, sounded awesome with the 4" flowmasters. anyways, i drove the shoot out of the truck, local shows, to and from the track, etc... i took the valve covers off and noticed there were a bunch of metal shavings in the top of the head. spring pockets were cut way too deep and had actually worn through. pulled the head and noticed the pistons were chewed up also. took the whole thing apart and thats where i am now. i like the idea of keepin everything under the hood so a pair of hair dryers may be in the future. basically moral of the story becareful if your gonna run a big solid roller on the street.
-
do you know what colors your truck is? Real nice truck though
-
the top color is called saddle poly and the middle is nuetral, both are 79 gmc colors
-
slick ride!!
-
Super sweet longbed....i'm heading that way with my 74 lwb. I don't plan on going full pro street with mine, just a clean street rod/muscle truck look.

Naw long beds have their own crowd as well. Me personally... i wouldn't want anything to do with a shortbed. Had two over the years and sold em both. My current longbed is much loved and will hopefully be with me forever.
