where can i find a factory grade seam sealer like the use in the cabs and beds of our trucks?

Plowking, Any good autobody supply store should have some. The best I have found is a two part type made by Kent, which I believe is sold only through a distributor. It is rather expensive (about $35 a tube). Maybe you could check with a local bodyshop & see if they have access to it. There are other, more readily available sealers from Fusor & 3M also. Lorne

been doing body work for ever , i use this 3m sealer     http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/3MAutomotive/Aftermarket/Products/Product-Catalog/?PC_7_RJH9U5230GE3E02LECFTDQCEK3_nid=GSC5NRW78Tbe6DTWTJQPBBgl     i use a little prep solvent with a acid brush to flow it out

That's how I do it too flthead. Works mint. Any decent autoparts store will have the 3m

GM has been using 3M Sealers since the 1970's when our trucks were new... You can even go down to your Local Stealership Parts Dept for some, Pay 2-3times the price the Parts/Autobody Supply Stores want, and just get a GM Labeled Box & Tube, with 3M in the fine print ;D
