where can i find a factory grade seam sealer like the use in the cabs and beds of our trucks?
-
Plowking, Any good autobody supply store should have some. The best I have found is a two part type made by Kent, which I believe is sold only through a distributor. It is rather expensive (about $35 a tube). Maybe you could check with a local bodyshop & see if they have access to it. There are other, more readily available sealers from Fusor & 3M also. Lorne

GM has been using 3M Sealers since the 1970's when our trucks were new... You can even go down to your Local Stealership Parts Dept for some, Pay 2-3times the price the Parts/Autobody Supply Stores want, and just get a GM Labeled Box & Tube, with 3M in the fine print ;D
