That looks exactly like my 1980 C-10 I had. It was my 1st one of these trucks that got me addicted. Had a 400sb and TH400. I let someone borrow it and they rode the guard rails  :'(

Wow, 650 miles! Was it a vehicle forgotten and lost in a dealers inventory? I'm in Vancouver BC but I grew up in Lloydminster, on the SK/AB border. A GMC dealer there had an 87 shortbox fleet that was 'lost' in inventory (it was parked in their back lot, which had a bunch of trees, carious junked cars, an old barn and an old house on it so I could see this happening) for like 12 or 15 years. They used it as their parts runner once it was found. Body definitely had some issues but the truck was virtually new.

Wow you know I've never really cared for too light of colored interior for a truck, but that looks Disco Kool (http://www.ezsmiley.com/gallery/misc/afro.gif)

Hey Alex, just curious, did you find replacement impact strips for the truck you have as your avitar or did you reuse what you have??  I have a '77 that I would like to replace them on, but I don't know of a company that makes them for anything under 81-91's

Looks good now but if i was to do something like that i  would paint the lower dash white along with the steering column..And then THAT would be disco cool!

Yeah I agree,it would need a Black Dash Pad also, but keep the red carpet treatment! Hug-ga-licious (http://www.cvreefers.org/images/smilies/pimp.gif)
