I have an 86 chevy K10. I replaced the window motors because they were running slow. Now they don't hardley work. I changed the switch, but still nothing. It seems like the it is hit or miss on getting them to go up or down. If you can get them moving, it takes several stop and goes to get them all the way up or down. Help please.

Sounds like dirty contacts...Do they look dirty?? As in ware the switches connect to the motor? this is not my area but u could check the basics like that...

Did you replace the old motors with new ones or used?
Usually the motors get sluggish from wear and tear and the elements (when) the door rots, and the regulators bind also from the same. You can plug in the motor before installing onto the regulators to check the operation, you should see the difference between old and new.

If your electrical is good then lube is your friend. Some white lithium grease in the traks will work wonders. Also check the little rollers in the tracks if they have a flat spot they tend to slide on that spot rather than roll. It is much harder to slide then roll. Good luck!
