Title: head casting question

i have some heads with a casting number with this description

14102193...87-up...305/350......1.94"/1.5" valves

My question is are they still closed chambered?and are they good? they came on a vortech engine

Those are 76 cc heads for the TBI engines...they aren't anything special.  If you want a 64 cc head that will interchange go with the 14101083 that is the head used on TPI engines during the same time period and makes a good replacement for the 193 heads which don't flow very well at all.
