is there a way that i can change my fender with out taking the hood off i thank you can take a 2+4 and put it up against the hood and that will hold it

You should be able to put something up to hold it up while you remove it, that's what we done on two different trucks a lead pipe(fence post) 2x4 or some blocks or anything really.

I had mine there I wedged it right behind the hood latch so it couldn't kick forward or back and made sure it was stuck up in the hood, one of the holes in it just for the same reason, keep in mind I had a pipe doing this so you might have to trim down your 2x4 or set it up so it can lock into the hood. I removed the passenger side fender on ours.

Word of caution for you, if you plan on replacing a fender without removing the hood, be sure to protect the windshield!!  A thick blanket, or some padding added to the rear of the hood temporarily..  Trust me, I tried removing a couple of fenders off of different cars/trucks in wrecking yards, and the slightest bump/etc sent the edge of the hood into the windshield(Luckily the windshields were already busted in spots) :o
