Title: Core support ?'s
Post by: dwg30 on March 03, 2008, 09:46:15 pm
I am going to change the core support in my truck this weekend. Will I have to remove the fenders to change this or just unbolt everything and it should come out?

It is easier witout the fenders but it can be done without removing them.

I have taken many off with the fenders on, you just have to have a friend help spread the front of the fenders out as you lift the core support out.

YOU MIGHT CONSIDER REMOVEING THE FRONT BUMPER ALSO SO YOU CAN SPREAD THE FENDERS APART

Thanks for the info

It looked like it could be done with the fenders on but I just wanted to make sure.

It can be done with the bumper and radiator still in place. Just takes a little finagling!

Done....It wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be. I was able to do it myself leaving fenders, radiator and condenser all in place.
