Post by: shaved80 on December 23, 2005, 02:51:00 pm
anyone else have any trouble installing shorty headers on their truck? on the driver side of my truck, the motor mount is right in the way, i've been grinding and banging the crap out of trying to get the header to fit

they're summit brand block huggers on my 80. what do you mean application? i got them to finally fight right, it just took alot of work on that motor mount, which i don't think will be a problem since the guys who rebuilt the motor before we owned it only had one motor mount on...

Just wondering if they were universal fit or if they had a specific application.  I haven't ever used shorty headers, I have used Chevelle headers though and they work well.
