need to bring the front end down about an inch, kinda looks like the rear is loaded down. but overall, looks good
-
Looks good. I agree on the one inch more in the front. What kit did you all use?
-
Front needs to come down some more in my opinion too.
-
Yes either bring it's rear up a lil or bring the nose down some more
-
Agreed. I would get another 1" drop for the front.
-
At least an inch, If it ended up 1 1/2" or so lower wouldn't be looking wrong In my opinion. I'm surprised it ended up that much different. There is an engine in it, isn't there? Even in the "before" picture, the front seems really high. What did you guys use in the front to lower it? Lorne

the kit we used was doetsch. Yes the truck does have an engine in it. in the front we switched the stock springs with 3' lowering ones. The truck hasn't been driven (let alone sat in) since we did the drop. The front springs won't go lower once they are driven on? thats what we thought would happen

It is possible that it will settle down a little once driven, I didn't take that into consideration. I have heard of this before, so I would try it before you buy more parts
-
Well its a buddy of mines and he just got the truck and doesn't even has his license yet, so there will no parts being bought. We just saw the flip kit laying in his garage and made a Saturday out of it.
-
If it hasn't been driven, I will settle, but not that much over a week. Are the springs seated correctly?
-
ya they are seated correctly as far as i know.
-
Yup, front needs to come down more. I don't think it will drop much once he drives it, and I wouldn't hack the 3" drop coils to achieve more drop. I would have started with drop spindles or control arms...and used drop springs to "fine tune" it.
He could put a BB in it to achieve more drop. :)
-
Yeah, DEFINITELY don't cut 3" drop springs...

looks good if you want it to look bagged
