More questions guys!
With the ignition on, the blower works fine except when I turn the blower off, it continues to blow on the lowest setting. Is it a simple switch replacement or the blower itself I need to be looking at?
Help as always muchly appreciated!!
cheers

Now why would you want to do that Bitzer, are ya trying to save gas, or trying to keep any cold air out in the winter time ::) Ya I'm with you on the Blower Motor setup the way it is with these trucks, one of the things I disliked about my Father's old '76 C20!! My Father also hated it, and desided to By-Pass the Blower Switch, and Added one that Competely shut the blower motor off when he wanted it... ;)

The main reason for asking was Edward Scissor hands has been at the wiring in my truck and wasn't sure if he'd bodged it up like most other things he touched!
I've been leaving the ignition on while I sort out all the other wiring issues and the blower droning away in the background was winding me up!!

It was designed to do that to keep the air circulation in the distribution plenum clean and dry free of mold and such.
