Ok the 700R4 in my 85 K10 is shifting a little weird when in D(drive). Whenever I drive it in D it will upshift fine all the way to highway speeds but whenever slowing down, say from 30mph to 10mph, it will downshift very hard, almost snapping my head off with a clunk. It only does it at the 3-2(or maybe its 2-1) downshift when slowing down. In overdrive it upshifts and downshifts fine..The tranny has just been recently serviced(new filter, new fluid) What could it be?..

Why are you driving in D instead of overdrive? If you want to fix your problem get the revised accumulator springs and get a transgo reprogramming kit for the valve body.

Well I primarily drive around town(no highway speeds) so usually it stays right at the point where it shifts into OD(40 mph). So its alway constantly goin back and forth from 3rd to 4th..and I heard that it wasnt very good for it..Should I just keep it in od or what..
