I have a 79 k20 4x4 lwb fleetside with dual tanks and was wondering what size the fuel tanks are?
-
btw-my fuel gauge isnt correct and i need to know how often to fill up. Thanks

should be 20 gallon

Yup 20 galon tanks if there 56" long and 16 gallons if there 42 7/8 long as per the spectra catalog.
-
Being a LWB Fleetside, as Vile stated it should have a 20 gal on each side...
-
FYI, A LWB could have a 20 main tank and a 16 secondary. I have seen a few like that...

Hmph Did not know that Capt.... Most of the LWB's around here have had either dual 20's or a single 20, with the SWB's having the 16's.... That's from what I have seen, have been told by my Father when he wanted to replace his tanks, and the Repair Shop Tank Guy(An Older Welder who fixes both Radiators, and Fuel Tanks) that patched my Father's tank.....

99% of the time that is right, just wanted to point out that I have seen LWB's stock with dual tanks and different tanks. the SWB's will ONLY be 16g.
