I've got two new set of heads but are thay worth useing can anybody tell me the cc, and year?3998983 and 333882 it could be 338882.
-
882's are open chamber 76cc crack proned smog heads. They are okay for a bone stock, low HP engine. DO NOT get them hot or they just crack. A 160 thermostat and a 3 or 4 row radiator are your best friends. ;D

Ok good so that set will work on a stock motor.BUT how about the other set the #'s on the them are side to side not up and down like all the other sets i've seen there sopost to be off of a 71 vett motor?but there is a 7# code on the other heads not 6 like all the others i've seen.I don't no where to look up #s at.
-
I don't recognize that#. Double check it
-
I'll post a pic today so everybody to see them.
-
Never mind guy's i cleaned them heads up and the set with the #'s3998983 is bad between cylinder's but sill would like to no the year and cc i've searched all over the inter net but no luck.
-
make sure you're reading the # carefully and that it is the correct # sometimes 3 look like 8's etc. Not a very common casting # if it is correct.
