Hey guys. I've run into a problem. I had a 700r4 put into my truck after the th350c gave up the ghost. I had an edelbrock on the engine and the tranny shop seemed to have everything work. I've since decided to put a qjet on it. My question is this: The TV cable has a bolt that is too big to fit through the linkage on the carb. Looks like the linkage on the image below. I don't know if I can take out the bushing on there or not? I'd PREFER not to replace the TV cable but maybe somebody knows better than I? I'll check again to see if there's a way to replace the bolt-type thing?

edit: well dang, it wasn't a bolt but the stud deal so I'm screwed right now. Awesome.

I'm confused ??? Are you saying the tv cable won't snap in? The small flat one is for the TV cable the other one is for the throttle cable.

Ok nevermind. I think I was looking at something wrong :-X. The bushing is for the throttle return spring and the one that comes out is for the TV cable. Ok, now that I see it's a stud type arrangement on the TV cable., this should be a whole lot easier. Bet I sounded like a dumbass.

No sir, don't think anything like that. That's why we hired Vilezamboni- to get us all straightened out...
