Title: Model year seat belt differences?

Is there a difference between the seat belt retractor assemblies used for bench seats in the 1973-1980 models and the 1981-1987 models?  Can an assembly for a 1987 pickup be used in an earlier pickup cab?  (I assume they all use the same mounting points and hardware and are interchangeable?)

You you can switch them between years.  There may be issue with the 73-74 models from what I recall on mine...
