Title: wheel feedback
Post by: yrik on March 26, 2008, 04:27:52 pm
I am building my 81 stepside old school hotrod style and i am going with rallys 15x6 in front and 15x8 in the rear.  I got bullit lugs and centers and am considering painting baby blue.  The truck is going to stay in its patina for now then probably suede black or iron oxide. let me know what you think. thanks, Mike
its going to be lowered to of course.

i don't think that looks too bad.  i think it'd look slick if it was a shiny black to go against the primer black on the truck though...

Those are the wheels I have on my truck.  I think they look pretty good. I think I have 15X8 in front and 15X10 in back.

Yrik, One thing that may go good with that is the old style, thin trim rings that sit back from the wheel lip a little, I think Wheel Vintiques has them. A friend of mine has them on his '65 truck. Just a thought, Lorne

thats a good idea I was thinking of running a thin trim ring.  Just hadn't found any yet.
