i just lowered my truck with djm drop spindals and had to know what size rotors were on the truck so i looked and they were 1 1/4 , but later found out the other side was 1" hm... anyway i ordered the 1 1/4 because thats the side i took off at the time. but anyway i had to get another 1 1/4 rotor. then when i was trying to put new pads on they would not fit , to thick. parts store guy acted like i did not know what i was talkin about with the 2 different rotor sizes. i know someone must have done that before i got the truck but he showed nothing about 2 rotor sizes. all that to ask if anyone has any idea about the front break pads or ANY of that?
thanks

Like Rotors, there are more than one size caliper for pretty much any truck available(Mainly due to size & engine differences)...
I take it you have an '83(From a Prior Drag Post), there was I believe different calipers depending on the size of the rear brakes... The rear Sizes were 11-5/32" X 2-3/4" & 11" X 2" Brakes(if not with another size or two in there as well)....
I'm sure if you measure the Calipers, you will see the size difference between the two(Oddly there only seems to be one size front pads though ???)...

right. it has the 2 3/4 rear breaks but with having 2 different rotor sizes dont know witch one was original? i will check and see if there are any differences in the calipers.
thanks

With 2 3/4" rears, you should have the thicker rotors up front.

ok i should take a caliper off and take it to part store and compare because pads they gave me will not work with current set up...very odd how and why the front end was done this way ??? ???

guys is the rotor the brake disc or a wheel? ???

It is the brake disc, Bitzer.
