Okay, so I swapped out my 2.73 rear gears for a 3.73 set about an hour ago. I still hit converter lockup at about 25mph. Will this improve if I install a ratio adaptor?

sorry I cant answer your question but is your truck accellerating much better now? just wondering as Im probably going to change the 3.08's in my blazer to 3.73's

adjust your tv cable

I'd like to change out my 3:08 to a 3:73, or even a 4:10. My lock up converter hits at 38mph...I want some more rpm's out of her.

i'd like to hear how she performs now too, as i'm wanting to change out my 2.73's...just don't know if i'm going to 3.73's or 4.10's...

That thing will flat out scoot. She can't quite break the tires loose, but that is most likely timing since I can hear the engine ping when I stomp it. I'll adjust the TV cable and see how the lockup goes. But yes, there was a very noticable improvement... best of all, its not howling at me or anything.
