Hey guys,
I'm about to replace my valve cover gaskets, and in the process I was thinking I'd like to install some nicer covers. I don't really care too much for the chromed steel covers - would like to go with a set of the finned aluminum ones. Thing is, the clearance issue with the a/c compressor bracket appears to be limiting my cover choices (and this being Texas, I'm not giving up the A/C). Has anyone ever heard of, or seen an adapter or extension that would raise the bracket high enough to allow for taller covers?
Thanks,
Dave

You can make your own brackets, modify your existing brackets or just buy some aftermarket ones.

...just buy some aftermarket ones.
This would be the preferred way to go, as opposed to jacking up my original ones. Do you know of a source for them?
By the way, your v/c's are sweet! Really did a nice job on 'em.

Thanks. I have 2 different sets... of that style and I love them.
Check google for air conditioning brackets for BBC
