Title: hooray for speed bumps!

while leaving work today, i went over a speed bump, and hit pretty **** hard...well here's the result.



atleast i took a good chunk out of the speed bump

when i called the insurance for a tow truck, i don't think the guy believed my story..

"and what exactly is wrong with your vehicle?"
"a speedbump took out my transmission crossmember"
"...a speedbump...hit your transmission crossmember..?"

I hate those ... but we all feel like "invincible' when driving our pickup over speed bump don't we ? ;-)

Be careful next time with those, sorry about your damage, here in Canada we have "Canadian Tires" stores that sells a lot of cr@ps and they all got those speed bumps near the gas tanks, I just dodge them on the sides hehe :-)

i actually go pretty slow over speed bumps, i rarely bottom out...well except this time lol

Take the owner of the road/parking lot to court and make them fix it.

i feel for ya sometimes shaved,...civics gettin in your way and messin the front up and now dang speed bumps knockin the crossmember off and yet you seem to have a positive outlook on life ...i respect ya'.
