does the vacum line and kick down need to be hooked up on turbo 350, building truck for circle track doesnt need to shift itself or kick down

yes. the Detent cable is for 3-2 shifts but the modulator controls upshift delay and downshift also. Just run a vacuum hose to it. If you want to override their controls use the manual valve.
