I was looking at getting a supercharger for my 82 pickup. its a 350 and i was wondering if i could make it happen. im not sure it would handle that much hp. the person who had the motor built said it had a cam and everything was new except the block itself. also the compression ratio i dont know. What would i need to know to make everything run right and not blow up my motor. thanks plzzzzz help ill try to get some pics and more info up 4 yall

You would really need to build a strong bottom end and keep your compression ratio lower 8 - 8.5:1 tops. A steel Crank designed for supercharging with a special key way, rods, and forged pistons are a must. Your cam exhaust duration should also be slightly longer.... I would use a gear drive system also. Realistically If you are going to spend the money on a supercharger, pull the engine and do it right especially since you don't know what it has inside it. Good luck with it!
