I just lowered my 83 silverado 3" with a pair of djm spindles and my stock brake hoses will not fit. I am looking for the best and most economical way to cure my frustration!!
-
well, are they too short or what makes them not fit? you may need to get a set of braided stainless steel lines like they use on lift kits...
-
They are hitting the upper a arms and they are a lil too short. will look into the braided lines though thanks! do you know of a good place to order them from?
-
Have you tried bending them? The steel part of the line will conform to the way you bend it.
-
I`m using russell braided steel lines on the front of my truck, got plenty of clearance and there a bit longer then the stockers.I say go with the braided steels and you should be ok.
thanks

Bend the metal portion to make it fit.

Hey thanks guys I got the metal ends bent to fit this evening and all looks good! I wasnt aware that you could bend those and was a little afraid to do so.
-
I am having the same problem with my 85. How did you bend them?? And what kind of stainless hose did you guys use? Will a stainless line with a banjo fitting work?
-
Just bolt em on and bend them by hand (without kinking them of course)
