Title: Transmission?
Post by: 1978Bonanza on April 24, 2008, 06:32:37 pm
My transmission pan is confusing me. In all the books it shows the th350 with the square pan and modulator in the back, the th400 with the funny shape pan and modulator on the side and the th700r4 with no modulator. Now I have a modulator on the side like a th400 but not a pan of any mentioned. What is up with that? Ehh... the more I look at it it looks like a th400 but it still doesn't look exactly like it. It resembles in though.

What is your truck? The TH400 looks like Texas sorta, The th350 is NOT square it has a 45° on the corner. The 700R4 is rectangular. The 4L80E is long and has the shape of a sled.
