Alright I have a 1986 Chevy 4.3 v6, I currently have the 3 inch drop springs from God knows who(I put them on when i was 16) well I'm trying to go back and fix alot of corner cutting. Well I wondering if I could or if anybody had put the McGauhy's 2.5 drop spindles on their truck and ran the stock rims? I measured and the clearance would be super close. I was just wondering if someone had done this. I really like the stock wheels and would like to keep them.

I forgot to mention I am going to put the stock coils back on. Also if its important the rearend is flipped and it has the 1 inch rotors. A th375 transmission....and thats it

With 3", you are most likely going to have to ground the caliper and possibly modify the control arm.
Where are you getting them from?
-
They are the 2.5 or so it says. GMC Pauls was where i was looking at getting them from?
-
We sell McGaughy's also.
-
Are they a 3 inch? or a 2.5 inch drop? And would u gimme a link to it? I coulda swore the only thing i seen in the suspension section was cal tracs bars?
-
It isn't on the store yet, and I don't have my stuff here with me. I can get you a price tomorrow though, it will be comparable to GMC Pauls. McGaughys only sell 2.5" spindles though.

Alright man, i appreciate it just let me know whenever you get them in ASAP. Im got this truck down to the cab and I need to throw it back together by august, september you don't happen to carry polyurethane bushings do you? and do you think their worth it if u already have to replace bushings?

I can drop ship a set to you, so them being in stock isn't an issue, if you want me to get you a price with shipping, send me an email with your shipping address with Zip code to webmaster@73-87chevytrucks.com (otherwise I will forget)
