Title: signals
Post by: the_legend_1981 on May 03, 2008, 05:45:00 pm
One of my brake lights was out so i changed the bulb... it worked fine.  On my way home i went to signal and it didn't blink.  This is only happening with my headlights on. what could the problem be?

Did you change it with the same type of bulb?

You should check the signal at the connector with a test light to see if there's 12v coming to the socket intermitently when the blinker is on. If the signal is there, it has to be a problem with the bulb, as Bitzer suggests. If no signal at the socket, there may be a problem with the grounding wire right there at the socket-to frame.

does it blink with the hazards on? if not your turn switch may be the problem.
