Title: Cabs
Post by: 75 C20 on May 04, 2008, 09:57:32 am
i don't know if it has been brought up before but i thought id ask. has anyone ever take a big truck cab/ c-60 style wit the small back windows and put it on a regular 10-30 series truck? does every thing work- i thought i hear something about the steering column isn't at the right angel?
has anyone ever attempted/seen this done?

The floors are flat and don't clear the trans etc.

Yes the cab will not "go on & all line up". If you are wanting the small back window for a different look, using just the back panel would be the way to go. I checked this out years ago, after seeing nice clean rockers & cab corners on a few of those trucks (due mostly to being up so high out of the slop I suppose). The floor & some of the firewall are different & since the floors are one of the first things to rot, it makes it not a very likely swap since you need the floor from the donor cab. Lorne

That's sharp;  i forgot that the topkicks had that smaller window.

Would this small window be legal on a 1/2 pickup?
