Title: Have to get a title inspection any problems from other NE residents
Post by: Golden on May 06, 2008, 08:21:45 pm: I just picked up an 87 chevy with an Iowa title, In nebraska we have to have a title inspection and I have heard rumors that they will screw with me over a lift. I only have a four inch lift and I have some pizza cutters to toss on it to lower it down some. Any one had problems in the Omaha area getting a title inspection done? Here is a picture of it, It really isn't that tall with this little tire configuration on it. What do you guys think?

Post by: VileZambonie on May 06, 2008, 09:17:01 pm: I wouldn't worry about it. Most out of state titles just require a vin verification and many states are also doing a stolen vehicle database search and that's it.

The guy told me that the bumper was too high to be street legal but followed it up with a comment along the lines of "if I tell you no you will just show back up tommorow with your bumper welded on lower, then go home and put it right back" I was thinking yep he's right! I got lucky and still had some cash on my plates and it turns out they have to pay me back 24.00. I think that is the first time I have had a pleasent time at the DMV. Thanks guys..

Post by: Golden on May 07, 2008, 08:09:26 pm: I know I couldn't belive it my self! Hey this is off topic but anybody know if I can mount some 32/11.50's on a 10 inch rim with minimal issues. I just picked a set up for 70 bucks! They look great. I would like to put them on VS. my rallies.
