Title: 81 stepside fender help
Post by: nucknoel89 on May 11, 2008, 03:53:58 pm
Hi all, new to these forums.  I have an 81 Chevy Scottsdale C-10 Stepside and anyways I ordered a bunch of parts for it from   Truck.  One thing they didn't have, however, is a driver's side rear fender with the gas hole.  Does anyone know where I could find one of these?

Well the store on this site says it's closed and I tried both sites you gave me and neither seems to have the rear LH with the gas hole.  This is getting kinda frustrating....

Yeah, it still has the originals.  Are you saying I'd have to get one without a gas hole and give it one?

You should email Chris, he can probably get you the same fender for a good price.

This was a dealer only item about 2 years ago.  no one is reproducing it.  When we did have them, they were $499 and that was a $25 markup...

Really?  Gaaah!   I suppose I could try to transfer the gas hole over to a new one, or maybe try to find one at a junkyard...
