Title: Turn Signals on 2 to 4 headlight swap
Post by: three8six on May 17, 2008, 07:11:25 pm
I have a 1986 SWB Custom. It came with the 2 headlights with the signal under. I have already painted a 4 headlight radiator support, I got all the headlights. I have my side turn signals shaved. My question is, is where do the turn signals go? Do they have to be in the bumper or can they be fitted behind the grill? What are my options? I don't really have to worry about police or inspection or nothing like that so can I get some suggestions?

Stock location is attached to the backside of the grill lowest outer part.

1981 model trucks had the flashers in the front bumper, you could use one of them bumpers if you wanted. I personally like that look.

What if I wanted an aftermarket grill?

The aftermarket grille will still fit if you put the turns in the stock location.
