-
16 of 18 here too ;D
-
I got all of them right but it said I only got 17 out of 18? Weird
-
I got to question #12 and quit. wasn't doing all that bad until the last four :D
-
I got 17 of 18.
The olds 455 was the only one I missed, couldn't see it well enough.
-
12, i guessed on most of those.
-
I'm not gonna tell ya what I got 'cos I'm too embarrased! If it was on ford 4 and 6 pot i'd have a better chance :-[
-
14 out of 18. I don't pay much attention to engines other than Chevys.
-
16 out of 18 too. some were pretty tough to see.
-
Somehow I got 17 out of 19. They must've threw one extra one in there for me ???
-
16 of 18 here too. Was kinda fun though.
-
17 of 18 for me, darn flathead
-
i "only" got 15 out of 18 which is suprising---because i don't know jack about engines.
Anyways, speaking of motor identification(this is GMC related), and this is probably sinful to discuss with gas approaching $4 per gallon, when was this produced and where to find one?

I believe these were built in the late 50's to mid 60's for the big over the road trucks. I have heard of them before, but I have never actually seen one in person, but have heard stories from my grandad. He said they were to heavy for anything less than a three ton.
-
So, where can i get one?
i want as much info as possible on this engine.
-
It said "You got 17 right out of 18" for me. Missed the pontiac with the stacks.
-
Managed 14 of 18, and a headache! See what happens when you don't keep up for 25 yrs. :-[
Maybe I am as numb as my wife thinks I am. ;D
-
Don't forget about my gmc 637 big-block.

From what i have read so far, it was produced from 1966 to 1974, so it's not too rare.
Anything you can tell me about this engine would be so helpful.
Thanks.

Here's a 12 cyl version
And this is what the 637 came in

17 out of 18. Got caught on the early Olds rocket one. The Mopar 360 was a difficult choice between that and a small block Chevy but what made it noticeable for me was the alternator. Only ever seen Dodges with that style.
-
17 of 18 for me, darn flathead
The flathead one was one of the easiest ones! Anyway, I got 8. :P
-
17 out of 18, not bad for a rookie... :D
-
I had them all right. pretty easy multi guess.
