14 out of 18. I don't pay much attention to engines other than Chevys.

i "only" got 15 out of 18 which is suprising---because i don't know jack about engines.

Anyways, speaking of motor identification(this is GMC related), and this is probably sinful to discuss with gas approaching $4 per gallon, when was this produced and where to find one?

I believe these were built in the late 50's to mid 60's for the big over the road trucks. I have heard of them before, but I have never actually seen one in person, but have heard stories from my grandad. He said they were to heavy for anything less than a three ton.

Maybe I am as numb as my wife thinks I am. ;D

Don't forget about my gmc 637 big-block.

From what i have read so far, it was produced from 1966 to 1974, so it's not too rare.

Anything you can tell me about this engine would be so helpful.

Thanks.

17 out of 18. Got caught on the early Olds rocket one.  The Mopar 360 was a difficult choice between that and a small block Chevy but what made it noticeable for me was the alternator. Only ever seen Dodges with that style.

The flathead one was one of the easiest ones!  Anyway, I got 8.   :P
