Title: clutch replacement

about how long does it take to replace a clutch and presser plate on a 82 c20 burb 2 wheel drive 350

That's a real general question there! A guy that has done many (a tranny guy or experienced hobbyist) could likely change it in about the time it would take you to eat a 12" meatball sandwich, me... most of a day! And that's if everything goes good.  Lorne

if you take your time and do it right and clean all the parts as you take them off :D it will take about 5 hours

on my first car, the old 68 mustang three speed, I burned so many tires and therefore clutches, that I could inspect the flywheel (turned if needed) replace the clutch disc, throwout bearing, pressure plate in about two hours blindfolded. The hardest part was lining up the disc to the flywheel....i ground down an old broom stick handle to use as a guide to line up the disc to the flywheel.

that's removing the driveshaft, cross member, shifter (three bolts), clutch linkage and spring,  trans (fout bolts), bellhousing (6 bolts), pressure plate (6 bolts).
Man she was always tight with a new disc---loved that old car.
