I just ordered a pair of 96-98 C1500 4.3 v6 shorty headers, for my 1986 c10, I was wondering what kind of fitment problems I am looking at. I know I gotta eliminate the smog equipment. I mean but is there anything about this that will make it impossible to fit, or is anybody even done this?

how did it work out ???

I don't know about the 96-98's, but the 88-95's should work if they are anything like the V8 ones.

I sized them up they look like they are going to fit. Its just I've been workin 55-65 hours a week and I work like 45 minutes away from the house so I aint got a shot at fitting them yet. I'm going to have to plug the smog pump but thats just minimal. I have all my smog stuff took off anyways since I live in the backwoods of Florida.
