Well I took about 4,000 lbs of #1, about 500 lbs of tin, 240 lbs of old aluminum, and 95 lbs of aluminum jeep wheels in yesterday. $900.00, nice little pay check. Just in time too, prices are dropping about $40 per ton tomorrow.

At this rate you'll be a rich old man some day!

Probably end up just being old though...my dad gets like $500 for a junk truck

For a complete running compact car they are paying around $200, for a full size truck they are paying $450.

The scrap price over here is going crazy! Averaging about £175 ($320) a tonne for light iron. I understand there is a big recycling company called Metal Management over there? They have just merged with the company I work for over here!!

i have a whole bed but in just parts and some inner fenders and a step rear bumper and a gas tank and exhaust system could i get some money for them

You need a big pile of tin to make it worth your while. Unless the scrapper is right around the corner?
