Got a question,
i konw this has been addressed before, i read many of the topics on the seach but.I got this tilt column from a 1982 GMC high sierra and the tilt part is tight but the swivel ball was loose, i took it all apart and realized the bearing that it rides on the casing was all busted up and the brarings were everywhere.I looked in 1 of the vendor catalogs and dont see thi bearing,Can anyone help me out on where to find it?
Thanks
pat
p.s. also the pivot pin itself is very loose i cna pull it in and out with my hand easily, do i need to take the column down more to tighten this ?

I have looked around and I can't find anyone listing that bearing. I am sure the guys the build them can tell you where to get them from.

GM used alot of the same bearings well into early/mid 2000(if not still currently), and are still widely available through your local Dealership....
Here are some of the things you can do to tighten the Column

GM still sells almost every part you would need for these columns still.
