Title: Spray on bed liners
Post by: gbskunk2006 on June 01, 2008, 11:30:18 pm
Have any of you tried the spray on bed lining kit by the makers of POR-15 called "Pow-R-Liner"?  Is it worth the cost savings by doing it yourself versus having it professional done by one of the many brands out there?

BTW, this is one the remaining things on my to-do list for my resto project http://forum.73-87chevytrucks.com/smforum/index.php?topic=6879.0

Thanks in advance.

I have used POR products before and think they are top notch. I am sure there bed liner would be no less. I have tried a few of the others. I really like the SEM brand. They have two different types, one that gets very hard like a plastic liner, & one that stay a bit soft / flexable. I like the one that stays a bit flexable.

The trick to getting any do-it-yourself bedliner to hold up is putting it on THICK...I think my next bedliner will be a line-x or rhino liner..I don't think I'll feel up to rolling that stuff on for two days to get it thick enough for the crap I throw in my bed.

SEM is a spray on setup. Use a rocker Shutz gun.
