Title: 87 a/c compressor
Post by: dunedigger on June 03, 2008, 12:09:25 am
I just picked up a a/c compressor for my 87 and the oil to dump in it.  It is brand new compressor.  Has anyone done this before.  I think i need to dump in the oil to the compressor (not sure if it matters which hole) and spin the pulley for awhile before installing it?

yes you need to fill the compressor with oil first and rotate the shaft. What are you charging the system with? R134A? If so use Esther oil
