Title: 83-87single headlight parklights on an '82???
Post by: 82Shortbed on June 25, 2008, 10:00:36 pm
I'm putting a new bumper, billet grille, and wanting to put the 83-87 single headlight parking lights up under my headlight since its a single headlight truck....however, do the parking lights bolt onto the core support?  I hope not, because my support doesnt have any holes for them to sit and whatnot, I'd like to see pics how they sit in there.  I wouldnt think they'd bolt into the bezels.  Anything would be appreciated.

Chris

well man it looks like you are going to have to do a little modifying or get a 83-87 core support

I put my 86 parking lights right onto the 83 core support I used with the 83 cab on my 86 frame. I just put the headlight doors on with the park light behind them, held the park light steady, took the doors off, marked, & drilled the holes. Then I used large self tapping bolts / screws.
