It's a fake.  No way four cell phones can produce the amount of energy needed to pop popcorn.  I hope I'm just stating the obvious here.

Don't need to.  I've already done the experiement where you hold it next to your head talking on it for better than an hour and guess what - my brain didn't boil.

Who in the world thinks of these things?  "hey, let's pop popcorn with our cell phones!"
Next thing you know, you'll be able to make beef jerky from your t.v. remote control.

It's fake, trust me, I know.

When I see stuff like that, I have to find out for sure if it's real or not. You can see people all over youtube who try it but with no prevail. The way it's done is rigging up wires from a microwave magnetron and powering it under the table with the popcorn kernels.

Cell phones produce only one thousandth of the microwave activity a microwave produces. The video posted is a hoax.

No it really works! Try it! You can also run your car on your cell phone if you put it in a jar of water near the air cleaner and call long distance.

Now that seems believable.  I'll try it.  Thanks.

Ok, all you men out there, if a ringing phone does that to popcorn, just think what it is doing when it rings in your front pocket.  8)
